Terms & Conditions

Terms & Conditions – Harry’s Tandoor & Haitch Table
By booking with Harry’s Tandoor or Haitch Table (referred to as “we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These terms are designed to protect both our clients and our business, ensuring transparency, fairness, and quality service.
1. Booking, Tasting & Deposits
To confirm your event date, you must follow one of the two deposit paths below:
Option 1 – With Tasting
A tasting fee of €70 per person is required as your initial deposit.
If you choose to book with us after the tasting, a 50% deposit of the total invoice (minus the tasting amount already paid) must be received within 14 days of the tasting to secure your date.
If you do not proceed, the tasting fee is non-refundable.
Option 2 – Without Tasting
If no tasting is requested or possible, a 50% deposit of the total invoice is required upfront to confirm your booking and reserve your event date.
No dates are held until the appropriate deposit is received in writing and paid in full.
2. Cancellation & Refund Policy
More than 12 months notice before event: Full refund of deposit minus €150 administration fee
6-12 months notice before event: 50% refund of deposit
Less than 6 months notice before event: Deposit is non-refundable
Less than 30 days notice before event: 100% of the total invoice is due and non-refundable
Cancellations must be submitted in writing via email.
If cancellation is due to client breach (e.g., unpaid invoices, failure to provide venue access), no refund will be issued.
If we must cancel due to serious emergency or force majeure, we will offer either a full refund or a suitable replacement arrangement, in agreement with you.
3. Quote Validity & Guest Guarantees
All quotes are valid only until the expiration date stated in them. After this, pricing is subject to revision.
Once your quote is accepted and booking is confirmed, the minimum guest count is fixed and cannot be reduced.
If you wish to increase guest numbers, we require at least 30 days’ notice, subject to availability and cost adjustments.
4. Payment Terms & Late Fees
Final payment (remaining 50%) is due 30 days before the event date.
A 10% late fee will apply if payment is not received within 7 calendar days of the due date.
All payments must be made via bank transfer, referencing the invoice number.
5. Travel & Accommodation
For events requiring long-distance travel, accommodation is arranged by us for our team.
We will source the most appropriate and cost-effective accommodation available and present it to you for approval.
Once approved, the accommodation cost is added to your final invoice.
6. Venue Access & Client Responsibility
The client must ensure clean, safe, and accessible kitchen or service space for event setup and service.
If damage, loss, or theft of our equipment occurs due to client actions or venue negligence, the client will be liable for full repair or replacement costs.
7. Staffing & Overtime
Your quote includes staffing for the specified duration only.
If service extends beyond this time, additional hourly charges per staff member will apply.
Please notify us in advance if your schedule changes.
8. Food Safety & Dietary Requirements
We maintain strict food hygiene and handling protocols.
Clients must inform us of any allergies or dietary restrictions at least 14 days before the event.
We are not liable for food issues once service is complete and the food is no longer under our control (e.g. improper storage or handling by guests or venues).
9. Alcohol & Beverage Service
Alcohol is not included by default in our packages.
However, we can supply carefully selected wine or champagne pairings to match your menu at an additional cost.
This must be arranged in advance and is included as a line item in your final quote or package.
Bartending and alcohol service must comply with local regulations. We reserve the right to refuse service to intoxicated or underage guests.
10. Photo & Media Use
We may take photographs or short videos of our food, service, and setups for use on our website, social media, or portfolio.
We will never photograph or film identifiable guests without express consent by the main client.
If you prefer that no media is captured at your event, please inform us in writing beforehand.
11. Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays, service disruption, or cancellations due to events beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, government restrictions). In such cases, we will work with you in good faith to find a fair and reasonable solution.
Agreement Statement
By confirming your booking and paying your deposit, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions in full. If you have any questions or require clarification, please contact us before making your booking.
