Terms & Conditions – Harry’s Tandoor & Haitch Table
By booking with Harry’s Tandoor / Haitch Table (referred to as “we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before confirming your booking.
1. Booking & Payment Terms
A 50% deposit is required to confirm your booking. This deposit is non-refundable unless otherwise specified.
Your quote is valid only until the date stated in the proposal. If not accepted within this period, we reserve the right to modify pricing based on availability, market rates, and other factors.
The remaining 50% balance is due within one week of service completion.
We also accept full payment upon receipt of the invoice if preferred.
Payments must be made via bank transfer. Please use your invoice number as the reference.
2. Tasting Policy
Complimentary Tasting: We offer a complimentary tasting only if you confirm your booking with us.
Paid Tasting: If you choose not to proceed with our services after the tasting, the cost is €70 per head, plus any applicable travel and accommodation expenses if required.
Tasting dates must be scheduled in advance and are subject to availability.
3. Cancellation, Refunds & Exceptions
Client Cancellations:
If you cancel more than 30 days before your event, you forfeit your 50% deposit.
If you cancel within 30 days of the event, 100% of the total cost is due.
Cancellations must be submitted in writing (email or letter).
Our Cancellations & Exceptions:
If we must cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, we will offer a full refund or an alternative arrangement, subject to your agreement.
In cases of extreme emergencies (e.g., severe illness, equipment failure, force majeure events), we will attempt to find a replacement chef or catering service.
If cancellation is due to client failure to meet agreed-upon requirements (e.g., venue access, payments not made on time), no refund will be issued.
4. Event Changes, Additional Services & Charges
Any changes to guest numbers, menu selections, or event details must be communicated at least 14 days in advance.
Any additional services requested that were not discussed prior to the event date will be subject to an additional charge.
Additional charges may apply if changes are made after final confirmation.
5. Travel & Accommodation Costs
If your event is located outside our standard service area, additional travel costs will apply.
For long-distance events requiring overnight stays, accommodation expenses must be covered by the client, either through direct booking or reimbursement.
6. Equipment & Venue Requirements
If we require access to a kitchen or cooking facilities, it is the client’s responsibility to ensure these are available, clean, and functional.
Any rental equipment or special requirements needed for the event must be discussed in advance. Any last-minute requests may be subject to availability and additional costs.
7. Service Staff & Event Duration
Our quote includes service staff only for the agreed-upon hours. If additional time is required beyond this, extra charges may apply per staff member per hour.
If the event runs overtime beyond the agreed time frame, additional fees may be incurred for staff and services.
8. Alcohol & Beverage Policy
We do not provide alcohol, but we can recommend pairings and serve beverages provided by the client.
If you require bartending services, this must be arranged in advance, and additional charges may apply.
We reserve the right to refuse service of alcohol to guests who are intoxicated or underage, in accordance with local laws.
9. Liability & Responsibility
We adhere to strict hygiene and food safety standards. However, we cannot be held responsible for any allergic reactions or health issues arising from undisclosed dietary requirements.
It is the client’s responsibility to inform us of any dietary restrictions or allergies at least 14 days before the event.
Once food is served, we are not liable for any mishandling, storage issues, or food safety concerns beyond our control.
10. Force Majeure
We are not liable for cancellations, delays, or failure to deliver services due to unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, government restrictions, pandemics, strikes, or other events beyond our control.
