Terms & Conditions – Harry’s Tandoor & Haitch Table

By booking with Harry’s Tandoor / Haitch Table (referred to as “we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before confirming your booking.

1. Deposit & Tasting Policy (Weddings & High-Value Events)

To secure dates for weddings and premium events:

  • A 30% deposit of the total event quote is required to reserve your booking.

  • This deposit is refundable under the following terms:

    • More than 12 months before the event: Full refund, minus a €150 administrative fee.

    • 6–12 months before the event: 50% refund of the deposit.

    • Less than 6 months before the event: Deposit is non-refundable.

Tasting Fees:

  • A tasting menu is available at €70 per guest, covering food, travel, and logistics.

  • If you proceed with a booking, the tasting fee is deducted from your final invoice.

  • If you do not proceed with us, the tasting fee is non-refundable.

2. Booking & Payment Terms

  • A 50% deposit is required to confirm your booking. This deposit is non-refundable unless otherwise specified in Clause 1.

  • The remaining 50% balance is due within one week after service completion.

  • If payment is more than 7 days late, a 10% late payment fee will be added to the outstanding balance.

  • Payments must be made via bank transfer. Please use your invoice number as the reference.

3. Quote Validity & Guest Minimums

  • All quotes are valid only until the expiration date specified in your proposal.

  • After that date, pricing is subject to change based on market rates and availability.

  • Once a quote is accepted, the minimum guest count is locked and cannot be reduced.

  • If you wish to increase your guest count, a minimum of 30 days’ notice is required. Increases are subject to availability and may incur additional costs.

4. Cancellation, Refunds & Exceptions

Client Cancellations:

  • Cancelled more than 30 days before the event: 50% deposit is forfeited.

  • Cancelled within 30 days of the event: 100% of the total cost is due.

Our Cancellations & Exceptions:

  • In the unlikely event that we cancel, you will receive a full refund or alternative arrangement, with your agreement.

  • In cases of emergency or force majeure, we will attempt to provide a suitable replacement chef or caterer.

  • If cancellation results from client breach (e.g., missed payments, failure to meet venue access conditions), no refund will be issued.

5. Tasting Policy

  • A complimentary tasting is offered only once your booking is confirmed.

  • A paid tasting before booking is €70 per person, plus any required travel/accommodation fees.

  • Tasting dates are subject to availability and must be arranged in advance.

6. Event Changes, Additional Services & Charges

  • Changes to menu, guest count, or event logistics must be communicated at least 14 days in advance.

  • Additional services requested after confirmation may incur extra charges and are subject to availability.

7. Travel & Accommodation Costs

  • Events outside our standard service area will incur additional travel costs.

  • If overnight accommodation is required, the client must either book directly or reimburse us.

8. Equipment, Kitchen Access & Client Liability

  • The client is responsible for ensuring safe, clean, and functional access to any kitchen or venue facilities required.

  • If our equipment is lost, damaged, or stolen during your event due to negligence or lack of supervision, you (the client) will be liable for replacement or repair costs.

  • Rental equipment must be pre-arranged. Last-minute requests may not be fulfilled.

9. Service Staff & Event Duration

  • Our quote includes staffing for the agreed time only.

  • Overtime or extended service will be charged per staff member per hour.

  • Delays not caused by us may incur additional charges.

10. Alcohol & Beverage Policy

  • We do not provide alcohol, but we are happy to serve drinks you supply and suggest pairings.

  • Bartending services must be pre-arranged and will be charged separately.

  • In accordance with law, we reserve the right to refuse alcohol service to intoxicated or underage guests.

11. Liability & Dietary Responsibility

  • We follow strict hygiene and safety standards but are not responsible for allergic reactions or health issues from undisclosed dietary restrictions.

  • Clients must inform us of any allergies or dietary requirements at least 14 days in advance.

  • Once food has been served, we are not liable for mishandling or food safety issues beyond our control.

12. Photo & Media Use

  • We reserve the right to photograph and film our dishes, table setups, and services for use in our marketing, website, and social media.

  • No identifiable images of guests or private content will be used without express permission.

  • If you prefer no media use at your event, you must request this in writing before your event date.

13. Force Majeure

We are not liable for service failure due to events outside our control, including natural disasters, health crises, strikes, or government restrictions. In such cases, we will offer a fair and reasonable solution wherever possible.
